Field Sales Executive–Insurance

2. Job Summary

AField Sales Executive works outside the office to generate leads, meet potential clients, explain insurance products, and close sales. The role focuses on expanding the company’s customer base and achieving sales targets through direct interaction with individuals and businesses.

3. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation

• Identify and approach potential customers in assigned areas.

• Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and networking.

• Conduct field visits to businesses and households.

2. Sales and Client Acquisition

• Explain different insurance products such as:

o Life insurance

o Health insurance

o Motor insurance

o Investment-linked policies

• Recommend policies based on customers’ financial needs.

• Convert leads into customers and achieve sales targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with clients.

• Maintain regular contact with policyholders.

• Provide after-sales support and policy updates.

4. Documentation and Compliance

• Collect required documents from customers.

• Ensure proper completion of proposal forms.

• Follow company policies and regulatory guidelines.

5. Market Research

• Monitor competitors and market trends.

• Identify new opportunities for selling insurance products.

6. Reporting

• Maintain daily sales reports.

• Update CRM or sales management systems.

• Report progress to the sales manager.
