A Field Sales Executive in the stone industry (granite, marble, tiles) drives revenue by visiting construction sites, architects, builders, and retailers to sell stone products. They are responsible for generating leads, delivering product presentations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries. Key tasks include managing client relationships and achieving sales targets, often requiring 1-3 years of experience in construction or materials sales.
Core Responsibilities
Customer Visits: Actively visit architects, builders, contractors, and construction sites to showcase stone samples and products.
Lead Generation & Sales: Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into clients within an assigned territory.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and close deals while maximizing profit margins.
Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
Coordination: Coordinate with production and logistics teams for timely, damage-free delivery of materials.
Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update CRM systems with client interactions.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 1–3 years in field sales, preferably within the building materials, stone, or construction industry.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of natural stones, marble, granite, and tile applications is highly desirable.
Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle for traveling to client sites.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
