Position: EDC (Electronic Data Capture) Machine Sales Executive / Field Sales Officer

Job Summary

The EDC Machine Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling card swipe machines (POS/EDC terminals) to retail stores, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and other businesses. The role involves merchant acquisition, product demonstrations, installation coordination, and relationship management to increase digital payment acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential merchants for EDC machine installation.
Promote POS/Card Swipe Machines and digital payment solutions.
Explain product features, transaction processes, and benefits to merchants.
Conduct field visits and generate new business opportunities.
Achieve monthly sales and installation targets.
Coordinate with operations and technical teams for machine deployment.
Maintain relationships with existing merchants and provide after-sales support.
Collect and verify merchant documentation required for onboarding.
Monitor merchant transaction activity and encourage higher usage.
