Field Sales Executive

About the Role

SMART STRUCTURE is looking for an energetic, target-oriented, and responsible Field Sales Executive to join our sales team. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships, conducting field visits, and achieving sales targets across B2B and B2C segments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in the field, meeting clients and prospects, identifying new business opportunities, and independently managing sales activities across Salt Lake, Sector V, Rajarhat, and New Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and other sales activities.

• Handle both B2B and B2C sales and develop new customer accounts.

• Visit prospective clients, businesses, offices, projects, and individual customers as required.

• Understand customer requirements and present suitable SMART STRUCTURE products/services.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

• Follow up regularly with leads and convert prospects into paying customers.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.

• Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

• Maintain proper records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities.

• Coordinate with the internal team for quotations, orders, delivery, and other customer requirements.

• Provide regular updates and sales reports to the reporting manager.

• Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the assigned area.

• Ensure professional representation of the SMART STRUCTURE brand while dealing with customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales preferred; freshers with strong communication and sales ability may also be considered.

• Valid two-wheeler and driving licence are mandatory.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong convincing, negotiation, and customer-handling abilities.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.

• Target-oriented and willing to take ownership of assigned sales responsibilities.

• Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp, Google Maps, and MS Office/Excel.

• Ability to travel regularly within Salt Lake, Sector V, Rajarhat, and New Town.

• Candidates with experience in B2B sales, B2C sales, construction, real estate, interiors, building materials, corporate sales, or related industries will be preferred.
