Job Description: Field Sales Executive (CPaaS Company)
This is a Field Sales Executive job. The role demands regular visits to potential and existing clients, building relationships, following up on leads, and achieving field sales targets by presenting and selling CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) solutions in-person within the assigned territory.
Identify prospective clients and generate new business leads through on-site visits, cold calls, and networking.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and live demonstrations of CPaaS solutions at client locations.
Understand client requirements and offer consultative, solution-based selling.
Manage the complete field sales cycle—from initial pitch to deal closure, client onboarding, and post-sale follow up.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (new client acquisition, revenue, active users, etc.).
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key business stakeholders to drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and product teams for tailored solutions and smooth implementation.
Maintain detailed records of field activity, customer interactions, leads, and deals using CRM tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and local market opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1–5 years’ experience in B2B field sales, ideally in SaaS, CPaaS, telecom, IT, or cloud messaging solutions.
Track record of successfully achieving field sales targets and driving business growth in a client-facing role.
Good understanding of messaging APIs, WhatsApp Business, voice, and email communication platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and in-person presentation skills.
Proficiency using CRM and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Must have your own laptop and a bike for field work.
Experience selling APIs or cloud-based communication platforms.
Existing business network within BFSI, retail, eCommerce, logistics, or healthcare sectors.
Familiarity with enterprise IT and integration concepts.
Schedule and attend client meetings and solution demos in the field.
Map, target, and profile new business accounts for outreach.
Collaborate with pre-sales and product teams for technical fitment.
Provide daily updates on sales activities and progress to the Sales Manager.
