Job Summary:
As a Field Sales Representative for PolicyBazaar, your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers, build relationships, and convert leads into sales. You will actively promote our products, including health insurance, life insurance, motor insurance, and more, while educating clients about the benefits of securing their financial future through reliable insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential customers (individuals and businesses) in assigned territory to sell insurance products.
Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person consultations with prospective clients to explain different insurance policies, benefits, and features, and offer tailored solutions.
Lead Generation: Leverage both online and offline channels to generate high-quality leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service, answering queries, and addressing concerns.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets set by the team and company.
Product Knowledge: Keep up to date with new insurance products, industry trends, and market conditions to effectively address client needs.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and sales pipeline, and report regularly to sales management.
Market Insights: Share feedback and market intelligence to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
Customer Retention: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing post-sales support, such as policy renewals, claims assistance, and policy adjustments.
Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in field sales, preferably in the financial or insurance industry (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of insurance products, such as health, life, motor, and travel insurance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with CRM software and basic MS Office skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Valid driver’s license and own transportation (if required).
High levels of enthusiasm, motivation, and resilience.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
