Job Title: Field Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: As per assigned territory
Working Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Probation Period: 6 Months
Role Summary:
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for expanding business opportunities and strengthening market presence for Phyto Life Science Pvt. Ltd. The role involves extensive fieldwork, direct interaction with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders, and driving sales of nutraceutical, herbal extract, and functional ingredient products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular field visits to identify and develop new clients across nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, herbal, and cosmetic industries.
• Promote and explain the company’s product portfolio, applications, and benefits to potential and existing customers.
• Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales deals.
• Build, manage, and expand distributor and trader networks within the territory.
• Collect market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of client visits, discussions, and orders in CRM or reporting systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events as required.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage assigned territories effectively.
• Basic understanding of nutraceuticals, herbal extracts, or pharmaceutical ingredients is preferred.
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in field sales, B2B sales, or pharmaceutical/nutraceutical marketing will be an advantage.
Compensation:
CTC will be offered based on interview performance and experience and is negotiable as per company norms.
Disclaimer:
The company reserves the right to terminate employment during or after the probation period in cases of misrepresentation, unethical conduct, non-performance, or violation of company policies. A service agreement of two years will be applicable for selected candidates.
Compensation & Requirements (Updated)
• CTC: ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000 LPA, depending on interview performance, experience, and skill set.
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must bring and use their own laptop for official work. This is a compulsory requirement for the Field Sales position.
