
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Market Visits: Plan and schedule visits to retail shops and other potential client locations within an assigned territory to identify new business opportunities.
Merchant Onboarding: Sign up new retailers and business owners on the Paytm platform, educating them on how to accept digital payments via Paytm's solutions.
Product Deployment & Education: Deploy various Paytm products, such as QR codes, Soundboxes, and EDC/card swipe machines, and articulate their benefits and best practices to clients.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales goals across multiple financial and payment products, including point-of-sale software, insurance, and other financial services.
Customer Relationship Management: Ensure customer satisfaction to drive higher sales conversions and retention, which may involve revisiting inactive merchants to resolve issues and explain current offers.
Branding Activities: Conduct branding and re-branding activities at merchant locations to enhance visibility and adoption of Paytm services.
Market Feedback: Gather feedback from the market regarding existing offerings and competitor activities to provide insights for product enhancements to the company.
Key Requirements
Mobility: A two-wheeler and smartphone are generally mandatory for daily field operations.
Skills: Good communication, negotiation, and sales skills are required.
Experience: While freshers are welcome, previous field sales experience is often preferred.
Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass.
