Key Responsibilities
● Develop new and manage existing relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, and end users.
● Conduct regular prospecting calls (telephonic and in-person) to maintain a healthy sales pipeline. ● Perform field visits to ongoing project sites to meet clients and gather project-related information (project scouting).● Increase brand visibility and enhance the company’s image in the local market. ● Systematically follow up with leads to ensure conversion and customer retention.
● Represent the brand at relevant community and trade events.
● Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Sales Manager.
● Vehicle ownership is mandatory for field visits and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
● Education: Graduate or above (preferred in Business/Marketing/Commerce or related fields)
● Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant sales experience.
● Industry Preference: Experience in Building Materials, preferably in the Plywood, Laminates, or Interior Decor segment.
Skills & Competencies Requisite Skills: ● Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication tools ● Excellent communication and presentation skills ● Strong negotiation and people management abilities ● Good decision-making skills ● Deep understanding of market trends and customer behavior Desired Skills: ● Ability to work independently and in teams ● Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets ● Familiarity with local geography and construction/architectural community in Hyderabad
