Field Sales Executive - Job Description
Position Overview: The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct customer engagement in assigned territories. This role involves building relationships with prospective clients, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets through face-to-face interactions and territory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management
Territory Management:
Develop and execute strategic territory plans to maximize market penetration
Conduct regular field visits to existing and potential customers
Map territory to identify high-potential prospects and market segments
Optimize travel routes and schedules for maximum efficiency
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through regular follow-ups
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities and market trends within territory
Gather customer feedback and market insights for product development
Report market conditions and opportunities to management
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Prepare regular sales reports and activity summaries
Submit expense reports and territory plans on time
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and delivery
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
1-4 years of field sales experience (industry-specific experience preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 70-80%)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
