Hiring: Sales Executive/Manager – Cross Border Logistics (India to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan) •
Location: Mumbai | Full-Time | Experience: 2–5 years
We are a leading logistics and customs clearance company specializing in cross-border transportation to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. We're looking for a •Sales Executive• to drive new business growth.
Job Purpose:
The Relationship Executive will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients by daily visits to client offices, ensuring end-to-end logistics support, expanding business volume, and generating new leads to drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Visit assigned client offices on a daily basis.
Maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients.
Act as the single point of contact for all client-related coordination.
Business Expansion, Generation Lead & Growth
Identify opportunities to expand existing business with current clients.
Promote company services and solutions to increase revenue.
Ensure continuity of business and long-term client retention.
End-to-End Logistics Support
Coordinate with internal teams to provide total logistics solutions.
Support clients with documentation, operations, freight, customs clearance, and delivery follow-ups.
Ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely resolution of issues.
New Lead Generation
Identify and develop new business leads through client references and market visits.
Conduct preliminary discussions and coordinate with sales/management for conversions.
Maintain lead data and follow up regularly.
Client Support & Issue Resolution
Understand client requirements and provide timely support.
Handle complaints or service issues and ensure quick resolution.
Escalate critical matters to management when required.
Reporting & Coordination
Submit daily visit reports and business updates.
Coordinate with operations, documentation, and finance teams.
Keep management informed of market trends and client feedback.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain services
Ability to build long-term client relationships
Willingness to travel daily for client visits
Basic knowledge of MS Office and email communication
Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Client retention and satisfaction
Business growth from existing accounts
Number of client visits completed
New leads generated and converted
Service turnaround and issue resolution
Responsibilities:
• Generate and convert leads for cross-border logistics and CHA services
• Build relationships with exporters, importers & manufacturers
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
• Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
• Daily Calls around up to 50 max.
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in logistics/freight forwarding/CHA
• Understanding of export-import procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-driven
