Key Responsibilities (Job Profile)
Develop new business opportunities in the transport and logistics sector in the Rajkot market.
Identify and approach potential clients such as manufacturers, traders, and distributors who require transport services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct regular market visits to generate leads and convert them into confirmed transport deals.
Communicate with clients to understand their logistics requirements and offer suitable transport solutions.
Negotiate freight rates and finalize transport contracts with clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets set by the company.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely transportation and service delivery.
Follow up with clients for business continuity and repeat orders.
Maintain records of client meetings, quotations, negotiations, and finalized deals.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
