Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Executive with strong knowledge of TMT Bars, construction industry, and field sales. The candidate should have good contacts with builders, contractors, dealers, distributors, fabricators, and construction project owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for TMT Bars through field sales and market visits.

• Identify and approach builders, contractors, developers, dealers, distributors, and construction companies.

• Generate leads through regular market visits, references, and networking.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and project stakeholders.

• Understand customer requirements regarding TMT Bar grades, sizes, quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.

• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, payments, and repeat business.

• Coordinate with the Accounts and Dispatch teams for billing, payment status, and timely material dispatch.

• Track orders from booking to delivery and resolve customer issues.

• Maintain daily field visit, lead, sales, and customer records using Google Sheets / MS Excel.

• Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, customer demand, and new construction projects.

• Identify upcoming residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects for business opportunities.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain proper records of customers, projects, orders, payments, and outstanding amounts.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of TMT Bars and construction material sales.

• Proven experience in field sales/business development in the construction or steel industry.

• Good understanding of construction projects and TMT Bar requirements.

• Strong network with builders, contractors, dealers, and construction companies.

• Good knowledge of Google Sheets and MS Excel for sales/MIS reporting.

• Good negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.

• Strong follow-up and target-oriented approach.

• Willingness to travel extensively for market visits and client meetings.

Preferred Candidate

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in TMT Bar / Steel / Construction Material Sales.

• Candidates having an existing network of builders, contractors, dealers, and construction projects will be preferred.

• Must be comfortable with field sales and regular market visits.
