Job Title - Sales Associate - 3rd party payroll Ciel HR
Key Responsibilities
• Dealer & Distributor Management: Maintain and grow the network of retail partners and distributors within your assigned territory.
• Direct Sales & Lead Gen: Identify new construction projects, renovation sites, and industrial leads to pitch specialized wiring solutions.
• Technical Advisory: Educate customers on product specifications (e.g., flame retardancy, voltage capacity, and insulation types) to ensure they choose the right cable for the right application.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and new product launches to provide actionable feedback to the regional manager.
• Collection & Documentation: Ensure timely payment collections from the market and manage sales documentation, including orders and returns.
• BTL Activities: Organize and lead "Electrician Meets" and "In-shop branding" activities to build grassroots brand loyalty.
Technical & Soft Skills
Product Knowledge: Understanding of House Wires, Industrial Cables, and Communication Cables (OFC/Coaxial).
Negotiation: Ability to close deals in a price-sensitive market while maintaining healthy margins.
Local Language Fluency: Proficiency in the local language of the territory is essential for building rapport with local shop owners and contractors.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any stream (BCom/B.Sc/B.A). A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an MBA in Marketing is a significant plus.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in channel sales (preferably in Building Materials, Electricals, Paints, or Hardware).
