Field Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive sales of Tally Software and related business solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, conducting face-to-face meetings, understanding business requirements, and converting leads into customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, references, and lead generation.

• Promote and sell Tally Software, TallyPrime, subscriptions, and related solutions.

• Visit SMEs, retailers, distributors, traders, and other business establishments to generate sales.

• Understand customer accounting and business requirements and recommend suitable Tally solutions.

• Conduct product demonstrations and explain key features, benefits, pricing, and subscription options.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain daily field-visit and sales activity reports.

• Coordinate with the internal team for installation, implementation, training, and customer support when required.

• Identify opportunities for upgrades, renewals, and additional software solutions.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally / TallyPrime and basic accounting concepts.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good convincing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

• Ability to generate leads independently and work towards sales targets.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

• Good customer-handling and relationship-management skills.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, software sales, Tally sales, ERP sales, or B2B sales preferred.

• Freshers with strong sales ability and knowledge of Tally may also be considered.

• Must have a valid two-wheeler and willingness to travel for customer meetings.

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
