The Field Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling sewing machines and related products in assigned territories. This role involves meeting potential customers, understanding their needs, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction to achieve sales targets.
Sales & Business Development
Promote and sell sewing machines to retail shops, tailoring units, training centers, and individuals.
Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and local networking.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and pricing.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with customers and maintain regular follow-up.
Address customer inquiries, provide after-sales support, and resolve complaints.
Maintain a customer database and update records after each visit.
Territory Management
Cover assigned areas efficiently, planning daily routes for maximum productivity.
Identify new market opportunities and gather competitor insights.
Work towards achieving weekly and monthly sales targets.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily visit reports and sales data.
Submit reports to the Sales Manager with feedback from the field.
Ensure proper documentation for all sales transactions.
Product Knowledge & Training
Stay updated on sewing machine models, features, upgrades, and accessories.
Attend product training sessions and implement learnings in the field.
Educate customers on product usage and maintenance.
Minimum 12th pass; Diploma/ITI in mechanical or textile fields is a plus.
1–3 years of field sales experience, preferably in consumer durables or sewing-related products.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
