Job Summary:

The Field Operation Officer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing field-level activities including surveys, data collection, business verification, mapping, and relationship-building with local vendors and business owners. The officer ensures the accuracy and completeness of field data, especially focusing on identifying unregistered shops/offices and helping them get listed on platforms like Google Maps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field visits to assigned areas to collect data on shops, offices, and vendors.

• Identify and document businesses not currently registered on Google Maps.

• Educate local business owners about the benefits of being online and guide them through the registration process.

• Maintain detailed records of visited locations, GPS coordinates, and business information.

• Collaborate with GIS/mapping teams to ensure accurate mapping of physical locations.

• Submit daily and weekly field reports, including challenges and observations.

• Coordinate with internal teams to update business listings and resolve any discrepancies.

• Ensure all field activities comply with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Geography, Urban Studies, or related field.

• 1-3 years of fieldwork or operations experience (Fintech, surveying, logistics, or business development preferred).

• Familiarity with Google Maps, My Business, and basic GPS tools.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
