As we prepare to launch in Kolkata, we are seeking a passionate and energetic Field Operations Manager to build, manage, and lead our on-ground team and operations.
Job Summary:
The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of rider onboarding, field marketing, day-to-day operational excellence, and customer service quality across Kolkata. This role demands a proactive leader who can bridge strategic plans with ground-level execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Rider Onboarding & Management:
• Recruit, verify, and onboard bike taxi riders in Kolkata according to INFU RIDES standards.
• Conduct training sessions for riders on app usage, service quality, safety protocols, and customer interaction.
• Maintain strong rider relationships to improve engagement, retention, and service quality.
Field Operations Execution:
• Monitor and manage daily rider availability and ride completion rates.
• Solve real-time operational issues and rider escalations with urgency.
• Ensure rider compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
Ground Marketing & Activation:
• Lead field marketing activities such as recruitment drives, roadshows, tie-ups with petrol pumps, garages, colleges, etc.
• Distribute marketing materials to promote the INFU RIDES app and increase brand visibility across Kolkata.
• Execute hyperlocal campaigns for user and rider acquisition.
Operational Efficiency & Reporting:
• Track and report key operational KPIs including active rider percentage, trip volumes, and complaint resolution rates.
• Analyze field data to provide actionable insights for improving performance and efficiency.
• Handle cash bonuses, payouts, and incentive disbursements for riders.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination:
• Collaborate with service centers, bike financiers, logistics partners, and vendor support teams where required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not mandatory).
• 2+ years of field operations experience in bike taxi, ride-sharing, logistics, or fleet management sectors.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in field conditions, flexible hours, and lead field teams directly.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali is essential.
Preferred:
• Experience in companies like Rapido, Ola, Uber, Dunzo, or other logistics/delivery platforms.
• Familiarity with transport and licensing norms in West Bengal.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, field apps, and GPS-based tracking.
