ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell insurance products by meeting customers in person. The role involves generating leads, explaining insurance policies, closing sales, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, shop-to-shop visits, referrals, and local networking
- Meet prospective customers (retail customers, small shop owners, daily wage earners, drivers, etc.) to understand their insurance needs
- Explain insurance products in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
- Achieve assigned sales targets on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Assist customers with basic documentation, form filling, and policy issuance
- Maintain accurate records of field sales activities, and follow-ups
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers, retailers, agents, and community members
- Follow up on policy renewals and cross-sell/up-sell insurance products to existing retail customers
- Coordinate with internal teams for policy servicing, claims support, and customer queries
- Stay updated on company products, pricing, and industry regulations
- Provide after-sales support to customers, especially first-time insurance buyers
