Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: The Field Sales Executive is responsible for meticulously planning, scheduling, and executing sales projects to meet and exceed targets within specified timelines.

  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: This role involves analyzing challenges in the sales process, making strategic decisions to overcome obstacles, and optimizing sales strategies for maximum efficiency.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: The Field Sales Executive collaborates with various departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment on strategies and achieve collective goals.

  • Leadership and Mentorship: In certain scenarios, this role may involve leading and mentoring junior sales team members, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously identifying areas for process improvement and innovation within the sales cycle to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.

  • Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Engaging with clients, conducting product demonstrations, addressing technical queries, and providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and maintain client relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, sales automation tools, data analytics platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and online presentation tools.

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, proven track record of meeting sales targets, experience in consultative selling, and familiarity with sales methodologies.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, problem-solving aptitude, adaptability to changing market dynamics, leadership qualities, and a customer-centric approach.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of B2B sales processes, knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
