Job Summary

As a Fields Boy, you will be a crucial part of our field operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the repair and maintenance of our construction equipment directly at various project sites. This role requires a hands-on approach, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently to ensure our equipment remains in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Maintenance & Repair: Travel to client sites to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.

• Equipment Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and spare parts required for on-site repairs.

• Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and hours worked.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on-site to ensure a safe working environment.

• Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients regarding equipment issues and provide excellent customer service.

• Reporting: Report major equipment failures or complex issues to the senior technical team for further action.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in the maintenance or repair of heavy machinery, construction equipment, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Physical Stamina: The job requires physical labor, including lifting heavy parts and working in various weather conditions.

• Communication: Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

• Attitude: A dedicated, proactive, and problem-solving attitude is essential.
