Field Boy

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Control and guide movement of vehicles and equipment within the site.

• Ensure safe entry, exit, parking, and reversing of vehicles.

• Use approved hand signals, flags, whistles, or communication devices.

• Coordinate with crane operators, drivers, and site supervisors.

• Maintain clear access routes and emergency pathways.

• Prevent unauthorized vehicle movement in restricted areas.

• Monitor speed limits and ensure compliance with site traffic rules.

• Report unsafe acts, near misses, or traffic hazards immediately.

• Assist during lifting operations and high-risk activities.

• Ensure proper placement of barricades, cones, and signage.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Wear and enforce use of mandatory PPE.

• Follow site safety rules and HSE instructions.

• Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.

• Support emergency response when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic education (preferred).

• Experience as Traffic Marshal or similar role at construction sites.

• Knowledge of hand signals and traffic control procedures.

• Physically fit and alert.

• Good communication and observation skills.
