Main responsibilities
Pick up packages from a warehouse, store, or distribution center.
Sort and organize packages according to delivery routes.
Deliver orders to customers at the correct address.
Collect signatures, payments, or delivery confirmations when required.
Handle packages carefully to prevent damage.
Use a mobile app/GPS to navigate routes and update delivery status.
Communicate with customers about delivery times or issues.
Return undelivered or damaged packages according to company procedures.
Maintain the delivery vehicle and follow road-safety rules.
Meet daily delivery targets and company service standards.
Skills usually required
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Basic smartphone/app and GPS knowledge.
Time management and ability to work independently.
