Collection Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Collections & Recovery

• Follow up with customers on overdue LAP accounts through calls, visits, and written communication.

• Negotiate and finalize suitable payment plans or settlements.

• Ensure timely collection of EMIs and overdue amounts.

• Conduct field visits to assess customer financial status and willingness to pay.

• Identify high-risk accounts and escalate when required.

2. Customer Handling

• Build a professional relationship with customers while ensuring firm recovery efforts.

• Understand customer issues and provide feasible repayment solutions.

• Ensure customer grievances related to collections are addressed promptly.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, collection attempts, and outcomes.

• Submit daily/weekly collection reports to the manager.

• Ensure updated documentation for settlements, receipts, and legal notices.

4. Compliance & Legal Coordination

• Follow RBI and internal company guidelines related to collections.

• Coordinate with the legal team for initiating legal action (SARFAESI, arbitration, etc.) when required.

• Ensure collection practices are ethical and within regulatory limits.
