Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Location: Amritsar – Ranjit Avenue
Experience: Minimum 1 Year (Field Sales)
Industry Preference: Banking / Insurance
Education: Graduate (Preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Officer to expand our customer base and drive sales growth in the Amritsar region. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of field sales experience, preferably in Banking or Insurance, and must be confident in client handling, lead generation, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and market networking
Meet potential clients and pitch products/services effectively
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify new business opportunities in the local market
Conduct follow-ups and ensure smooth onboarding of customers
Maintain sales reports, daily activity updates, and pipeline tracking
Coordinate with internal teams for documentation and customer support

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in Field Sales (Banking/Insurance preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work under targets and deadlines
Good understanding of sales process and customer handling
Presentable personality with professional approach
Basic knowledge of MS Excel/CRM tools is a plus

Education

Graduate in any stream (preferred)
Candidates from commerce, management, or finance background will be an advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in CASA, Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, Mutual Funds, or Agency Sales
Local market knowledge of Amritsar and surrounding areas
Immediate joiners preferred
