Job Profile: Field Sales Executive (Industrial Products / Sewer Cleaning Equipment)

Job Title: Field Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Assigned Territory
Experience: 1–3 Years (Industrial Sales Preferred)

Job Summary

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets for sewer cleaning equipment, jetting machines, nozzles, pipe inspection cameras, hoses, and related industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers in municipal corporations, contractors, facility management companies, industrial plants, and government departments.

  • Conduct regular field visits to meet prospective and existing customers.

  • Present products and provide technical demonstrations.

  • Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order closure.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Coordinate with the inside sales and service teams for order execution and customer support.

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Maintain CRM records and submit daily sales reports.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with customers.

  • Knowledge of industrial products and equipment sales.

  • Basic understanding of technical specifications and applications.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Qualification

  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • 1–3 years of field sales experience in industrial equipment, machinery, pumps, cleaning equipment, or engineering products.
