Role Summary:
The Business Development Executive will proactively identify and connect with decision-makers across various industries to secure meetings, build strong client relationships, and generate new business opportunities for TransCat PSPL. This role involves managing data, engaging with clients both in-person and virtually, participating in workshops and events, and supporting vendor registration and product sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Database Management:
Continuously expand and maintain a detailed database of key contacts across departments such as Leadership, HR, Finance, Production, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Administration, and C-suite executives. Focus geographic efforts on Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Delhi NCR regions.
Client Engagement:
Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, social media, physical visits, and virtual platforms. Operate independently or with senior team members, maintaining consistent and proactive contact particularly in the Bangalore market.
CRM and Documentation:
Keep precise records in Zoho Bigin CRM, including client details, sales activities, meeting notes, and required documentation. Follow company templates and participate in CRM training sessions as necessary.
Event Marketing and Client Acquisition:
Drive attendance by sourcing nominations for workshops, seminars, and other marketing events through digital outreach, calls, and field meetings. Actively promote TransCat PSPL’s management and leadership certifications.
Vendor Registration Support:
Assist with vendor registrations by coordinating with procurement, administration, and HR contacts to ensure all necessary company documents are provided.
Product Sales:
Actively promote and sell psychometric assessment tools with provided training and commission incentives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Management. Candidates with relevant HR service experience will also be considered.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with professionalism in client interactions.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and presentation tools.
Active on professional social media for networking and outreach.
Strong client service orientation, persuasive communication, and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented with adaptability to diverse client needs and market conditions.
Experience:
2 to 5 years in field sales, business development, or direct B2B/B2C sales.
Compensation and Facilities:
Salary range of ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 per month, plus performance-based incentives.
Office location: J. P. Nagar 7th Phase, Bangalore.
Company-provided email ID, CRM access, conveyance allowance, and SIM card.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in business development or sales of educational/hr products, recruitment services, psychometric tools, or related B2B/B2C sectors is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with client engagement in learning and development, talent acquisition, and human resource services.
