We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Closure Specialist with strong experience in MEP and Civil construction projects. The role is responsible for identifying opportunities, building client relationships, preparing techno-commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and driving project closures.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with developers, contractors, consultants, industrial clients, and institutional customers, and should be capable of handling the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Civil and MEP contracting.
Build relationships with developers, EPC contractors, architects, consultants, and industrial clients.
Track upcoming projects, tenders, and procurement opportunities.
Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market outreach.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective projects and clients.
Sales & Proposal Management
Understand client requirements and coordinate with estimation and engineering teams.
Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals for Civil and MEP works.
Develop pricing strategies and value propositions.
Conduct presentations, site visits, and technical discussions with clients.
Manage bid submissions, clarifications, and negotiations.
Closure & Contracting
Lead commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams for approvals.
Ensure timely closure of purchase orders, work orders, and agreements.
Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and margin objectives.
Maintain strong post-award client relationships to support repeat business.
Reporting & Coordination
Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and closure reports.
Coordinate with project execution teams during handover.
Monitor collections and support payment follow-ups where required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent.
5–12 years of experience in business development, sales, or contract acquisition for Civil and/or MEP projects.
Strong understanding of construction contracting, estimation, and commercial terms.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Ability to read drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
