Job Title: Assistant Business Development Manager – Logistics
Job Summary: COGOS is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Business Development Manager to drive business growth within the logistics sector. This independent role offers the opportunity to shape your own sales strategy, generate new business, and manage client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain clients.
Identify potential customers, generate leads, and build relationships.
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
2. Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and upselling services.
3. Negotiation & Contract Management:
Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Track sales activities and report performance against targets.
5. Collaboration:
Work with operations and marketing teams to execute contracts and create sales materials.
Key Requirements:
• Proven 2 -5 years’ experience in BDM / sales.
• Strong understanding of logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience in Logistics or last-mile delivery.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable) and willingness to travel.
