About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our sales efforts for
the school segment. The candidate will focus on developing institutional sales with schools, managing
relationships, and driving revenue growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and grow sales within schools and educational institutions.
● Build strong relationships with school principals, management, and procurement teams.
● Present the product line (school shoes/uniforms) and negotiate bulk orders.
● Identify and onboard new clients in the assigned area.
● Manage and support local distributors and channel partners.
● Track competitor activities and suggest business growth strategies.
● Coordinate with the Head Office for order fulfillment, dispatch, and stock planning.
● Ensure collection of payments within agreed timelines.
● Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to senior management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
● Strong background in Institutional Sales, preferably in the School/Publishing/Uniform segment.
● Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
● Ability to close deals and meet sales targets independently.
● Well-versed with the Mumbai market and capable of developing new business.
● Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
