Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to expand our solar energy business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and driving sales of solar products and solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of solar systems (preferred), and a passion for clean energy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate leads for solar rooftop systems, solar pumps, EPC projects, and other renewable energy solutions.

  • Conduct meetings, site visits, and product presentations for potential clients.

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and assist in the tendering process.

  • Maintain strong follow-up with prospective clients to close deals.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.

  • Coordinate with the engineering and installation teams for project execution.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, DISCOM procedures, and solar market trends.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience in solar sales, electrical products, or power solutions is an advantage.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to understand technical specifications (training can be provided).

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
