Role Overview
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, conducting financial planning discussions, and recommending suitable investment products including mutual funds, debt options, equity schemes, and SIP portfolios. This role requires a smart, proactive, and relationship-driven individual with strong sales and communication skills.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, and field activity.
• Conduct requirement analysis to understand clients’ financial goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
• Present investment options across mutual funds, equity, debt, hybrid, and tax-saving categories.
• Provide personalized financial planning and portfolio review services.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets consistently.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and advisory interactions.
• Stay updated on market trends, fund performance, and SEBI guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations and compliance teams for smooth client onboarding.
• Maintain detailed CRM records and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Qualifications & Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Business; MBA preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, financial advisory, or business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of mutual funds, equity markets, and financial planning basics.
• High energy, smart decision-making, target-driven, and client-focused.
• NISM Certification (preferred or to be completed after joining).
