Key Responsibilities:Merchant Acquisition: Actively visit local businesses (shops, merchants) in assigned areas to onboard them onto PhonePe's payment ecosystem (QR, Soundbox).Sales & Onboarding: Explain product benefits, features, and digital processes (KYC, Mandate) to merchants, and facilitate the setup.Field Work: Perform 100% field sales, including daily store visits, QR sticker placement, and Soundbox deployment.Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily/monthly sales targets for merchant acquisition and product deployment.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new merchants, ensuring customer satisfaction.Market Analysis: Conduct basic market research, map competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.Documentation & Reporting: Handle necessary documentation (KYC) and maintain accurate sales records.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to improve service and identify new sell-side opportunities.
