Role Overview:

The Business Development Executive (BDE) at Medhavi Foundation will be responsible for driving candidate enrolment and expanding the reach of skill development initiatives through strategic community engagement and stakeholder partnerships. The role involves building relationships with

panchayats, educational institutions, NGOs, local influencers, and community groups to generate awareness and mobilize prospective candidates. The incumbent conducts field outreach activities,awareness campaigns, and networking initiatives to create a strong pipeline of beneficiaries. Additionally, the BDE maintains accurate records, tracks mobilization performance, and ensures timely achievement of enrolment targets. The role plays a critical part in strengthening Medhavi Foundation's impact by connecting youth with employability and skilling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Outreach: Building rapport with local communities, SHGs, and stakeholders to create awareness about upcoming training opportunities.

  • Panchayat & Local Body Engagement: Visiting panchayats, gram sabhas, and block offices to mobilize support and ensure local participation.

  • Door-to-Door Mobilization: Personally, reaching out to potential candidates through household visits in targeted areas.

  • Seminars & Campaigns: Organizing and participating in mobilization drives, awareness seminars, street plays, and local events to maximize reach.

  • Institutional Linkages: Collaborating with schools, colleges, ITIs, and coaching centers to tap into student pools and recent dropouts.

  • Networking: Maintaining a strong network of local influencers, teachers, PRI members, youth clubs, and NGOs.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining proper data, daily field reports, candidate registration records, and following up with interested youth.

  • Target-Oriented Mobilization: Achieving enrolment targets set for each batch/project within specified timelines.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Work, Rural Development, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, field sales, mobilization, community outreach, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in the skilling, education, NGO, livelihood, or development sector will be preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic reporting tools.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in field-based environments.
