Position: Sales / Business Development Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Industry: Paint Manufacturing (Industrial Paints & Protective Coatings)
Location: Gujarat - Anand
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial paints and protective coatings.
Generate leads and convert them into customers such as PEB, contractors, fabricators, OEMs, and project sites.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Visit customers regularly to understand requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
Ensure timely follow-up for inquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
Market & Product Knowledge
Promote company products and explain technical features, applications, and benefits.
Keep updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with the technical team for product trials, demos, and complaint resolution.
Sales Coordination
Prepare and submit sales reports, visit reports, and market feedback.
Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts departments for order execution and collections.
Assist in pricing discussions and negotiations as per company policy.
Channel Development (if applicable)
Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and stockists.
Support channel partners in sales promotion and market expansion.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies, credit terms, and safety standards.
Maintain proper sales records and customer data.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree / Master Degree
4–5 years of experience in sales or business development in industrial paints / coatings.
Skills & Competencies
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Sound understanding of industrial paint systems and applications (preferred).
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/CRM knowledge preferred).
