About Daasho

Daasho is a fast-growing food delivery and quick commerce platform launching in Chennai. We connect local restaurants, grocery stores, and retail businesses with customers through a seamless digital ordering and delivery experience.

We are looking for motivated and target-driven individuals to join our Business Development team and help expand our merchant network across Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and visit restaurants, cloud kitchens, grocery stores, bakeries, and retail outlets within assigned territories.

Present the Daasho platform to business owners and explain its benefits, commission structure, and partnership terms.

Onboard new merchants onto the Daasho platform, including collecting and verifying required documentation such as FSSAI, GST, PAN, and bank details.

Assist merchants with registration, menu or product listings, and platform onboarding.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly merchant acquisition targets.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with partner merchants to improve activation and retention.

Train merchants to use the Daasho merchant application for order management and menu updates.

Coordinate with operations, catalogue, and support teams to ensure timely merchant go-live.

Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and local market demand.

Maintain accurate records of field visits, leads, follow-ups, and merchant onboarding status.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation in any discipline is mandatory.

Experience in field sales, business development, or merchant acquisition is preferred.

Candidates with 0–1 years of relevant experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Experience in food delivery, quick commerce, FMCG, fintech, or B2B sales will be an added advantage.

Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are mandatory.

Android smartphone required for app-based reporting.

Good knowledge of local markets across Chennai.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English; Telugu or Hindi is an added advantage.

Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-management skills.

Target-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach.

Comfortable with extensive daily field travel.

Basic proficiency in mobile applications and Google Sheets.
