We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive – Field Sales to expand our market presence across Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FMCG/beverages sales, strong distributor and retailer relationships, and a proven ability to drive volume and visibility in assigned territories.
Drive primary and secondary sales targets across assigned Mumbai territories.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities, onboard new outlets, and expand market penetration.
Execute sales strategies, promotions, and trade marketing activities in line with company objectives.
Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising at retail outlets.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends; share actionable insights with management.
Manage distributor performance including order planning, stock management, and collections.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, beat plans, and market feedback.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of field sales experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Beverages or FMCG.
Strong understanding of Mumbai retail landscape (GT/MT/HORECA is an advantage).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in the field and meet sales targets consistently.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai.
Existing distributor/retailer network in Mumbai.
Experience launching new products or brands in a competitive market.
