About the Role

We are a fast-growing electric vehicle startup focused on sustainable last-mile transportation solutions. Our mission is to accelerate the shift from internal combustion engines to next-generation electric vehicles and become a category leader in cargo and passenger EV segments. We are building a robust 4-wheeler EV platform and expanding our presence across key markets.

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Manager / Territory Sales Executive to drive sales performance and expand market share in Pune.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Expand the customer base within the assigned territory.

  • Drive retail sales and ensure achievement of sales KPIs.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.

  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable EV solutions.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify potential customers through field visits, networking, and cold calling.

  • Conduct BTL activities to generate qualified leads.

  • Achieve daily visit and trial targets.

4. Sales Presentations & Demonstrations

  • Deliver compelling product presentations and vehicle demonstrations.

  • Highlight product benefits, features, and cost advantages of EVs.

5. Negotiation & Closing

  • Negotiate commercial terms to achieve win-win outcomes.

  • Close sales efficiently and ensure timely payment collections.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, discounts, and schemes.

  • Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer insights.

7. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

  • Coordinate with dealership teams, financiers, brokers, and cargo union leaders.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in field sales (automotive/EV industry preferred).

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to achieve sales targets (Minimum target: 3 vehicles per month).

  • Daily field engagement (Approx. 25 customer visits per day & 20 trials per month).

  • Experience working with dealership teams and business stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, performance-driven, and willing to travel within Pune territory.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Prior experience in automotive, EV, or commercial vehicle sales is an advantage.
