Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager – ODC (Outdoor Catering & Events)

Job Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager – ODC will be responsible for driving business growth through outdoor catering, events, exhibitions, etc. The role focuses on generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of coffee catering services at various events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in outdoor catering, events, exhibitions, and institutional sales
Approach clients, event planners, and hospitality partners
Generate leads and convert them into long-term business relationships
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Understand client requirements and provide customized coffee solutions
Handle client queries, negotiations, and closures effectively
3. Event Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, production) for smooth event execution
Ensure timely setup of coffee machines, manpower, and materials at event sites
Monitor service quality during events and resolve issues proactively
4. Sales Planning & Targets
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for ODC business
Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management review
Track competitor activities and market trends
5. Inventory & Resource Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for required materials
Ensure availability of coffee, consumables, and equipment for events
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain proper documentation of orders, contracts, and invoices
Submit daily/weekly sales reports and event feedback

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Min 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in catering, hospitality, FMCG, or events industry
Experience in beverage or coffee industry is an added advantage
Preferred Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (including weekends/events)
Knowledge of local and event market
Ability to speak, read, and understand Kannada is a must
