Job Title:

Cattle Feed Sales Officer

Job Purpose:

To promote and sell cattle feed products, build strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and retailers, and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory. The role requires deep knowledge of animal nutrition, local farming practices, and effective sales techniques to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell cattle feed products to farmers, dairy owners, distributors, and retailers.

• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

• Conduct product demonstrations, farmer meetings, and awareness programs to educate customers on the benefits of cattle feed.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer loyalty.

• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.

• Ensure proper distribution and availability of cattle feed products in the market.

• Provide after-sales support, handle customer queries, and resolve complaints effectively.

• Coordinate with dealers/distributors for order fulfillment, payments, and stock management.

• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in cattle feed, veterinary, or agri-inputs sector.

• Strong knowledge of dairy farming, livestock management, and animal nutrition.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Proficiency in local language(s) and basic computer skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
