We are looking for a Area Sales Officer to join our team at HDFC LIFE. The role requires candidates who are skilled in building customer relationships, following up on leads, and maximizing sales opportunities. Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to drive business growth. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25,400 - ₹31,000 and prospects of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities through lead generation and prospecting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products/services.
Follow up with leads and convert prospects into business.
Achieve assigned monthly and yearly sales targets.
Conduct market visits, client meetings, presentations, and cold calling.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase business.
Maintain regular follow-ups with existing customers for renewals and referrals.
Maintain customer records and update CRM/database regularly.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and provide updates to management.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer service and business processing.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 6+ years of experience. Familiarity with different sales techniques is a must. Applicants should also have good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer use and the ability to utilize technology effectively are essential.
