Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor and dealer networks, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory. The role involves leading a sales team, developing business strategies, and ensuring excellent customer relationships.
Experience: MBA preferred
4–8 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Telecom, Pharma, or related industries.
Prior experience managing distributors and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage and develop distributor, dealer, and retailer networks.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives within the territory.
Conduct regular market visits and customer meetings.
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates.
Implement promotional and trade marketing activities.
Build strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
