Job Title: Area Sales Executive – General Trade (FMCG)

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Area Sales Executive – General Trade to lead our traditional trade sales and distribution operations in the assigned territory. You will manage our distributor network and execute localized market strategies. Your primary mission is to maximise product availability, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Growth:

• Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets.

• Design and execute localized sales schemes, trade promotions, and discounts.

• Monitor distributor ROI, stock aging, and credit limits to ensure financial health.

2. Distribution & Network Expansion:

• Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors and wholesalers in the territory.

• Identify gaps in market coverage and onboard new retail outlets to increase numeric distribution.

• Ensure zero stock-outs at both the distributor and retail levels.

• Conduct regular field visits (70–80% of time in market) to audit and build retailer relationships.

• Enforce structured route plans (PJP - Permanent Journey Plans) for the field force.

3. Market Intelligence & Visibility:

• Track competitor pricing, new product launches, and promotional campaigns.

• Coordinate with the marketing team to maximize in-store visibility and merchandising (POSM execution).

• Analyze sales data to identify market trends and operational inefficiencies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in FMCG sale.

• Skills: Strong negotiation, data analysis (Excel), route-to-market planning, and relationship management.

• Geographic Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the local retail landscape and distributor networks in Delhi/NCR

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
