Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor to stitch upholstery for auditorium chairs. The candidate should have experience in stitching fabric, leatherette (rexine), and foam covers using industrial sewing machines while maintaining high-quality finishing.

Key Responsibilities

Stitch fabric and leatherette covers for auditorium chairs.

Operate industrial sewing machines (JACK H2 or equivalent).

Read and follow cutting patterns and production drawings.

Ensure accurate stitching, proper fitting, and premium finishing.

Maintain daily production targets without compromising quality.

Repair minor stitching defects when required.

Keep the work area clean and follow safety practices.

Required Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in upholstery stitching.

Experience with furniture, office chairs, auditorium chairs, or automotive seat covers is preferred.

Knowledge of industrial sewing machines.

Ability to stitch straight, curved, and decorative seams.

Good understanding of fabric and leatherette handling.

Qualification

Minimum: 8th Pass / 10th Pass.

ITI or Tailoring Certificate is an added advantage.
