Purchase Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase cum Store Manager with strong expertise in fashion designing and high-fashion garment production. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of raw materials, accessories, vendor sourcing, and store operations, along with excellent market awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase planning and procurement for fabrics, beads, threads, accessories, trims, and finished garments.

• Possess strong understanding of fashion designing concepts and high-fashion garment production processes.

• Source and negotiate with vendors, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Maintain deep knowledge of the garment production industry, including sampling, costing, and production requirements.

• Handle store operations, including inventory management, stock audits, inward/outward movement, and record keeping.

• Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

• Maintain strong market knowledge of trends, pricing, suppliers, and new materials.

• Coordinate with designers, production teams, and merchandising departments.

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and quality control of materials.

• Prepare purchase reports, stock reports, and vendor performance evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of fashion designing and high-fashion garments.

• In-depth understanding of garment production processes.

• Excellent knowledge of beads, threads, accessories, fabrics, and trims.

• Experience in purchase management and store handling.

• Strong vendor negotiation and sourcing skills.

• Good market intelligence and trend awareness.

• Proficiency in inventory management and documentation.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience:

• Preferred experience in high-fashion garment manufacturing or fashion houses.

• It is a Full Time Fashion Designer job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
