Fashion Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Coordinate with designers and buyers on new styles, fabrics, and trims; manage sample development and approvals.

• Costing & Order Management: Prepare cost sheets, finalize prices with buyers/vendors, and confirm orders.

• Production Coordination: Follow up with factories for fabric sourcing, production tracking, and quality checks.

• Buyer Communication: Serve as the main contact for buyers on order updates, approvals, and feedback.

• Quality & Delivery: Ensure production meets quality standards and delivery deadlines; coordinate shipment schedules and documentation.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of samples, orders, production status, and shipment details.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or Apparel Merchandising.

• 4–8 years of experience in apparel merchandising.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising tools/software.
