Fashion Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fabric Knowledge:
Basic understanding of various types of fabrics and their usage in garments or home furnishing products.

2. Support to Senior Merchandiser:
Assist the senior merchandiser in daily tasks including follow-ups with vendors, buyers, and internal teams.

3. Sampling Knowledge:
Involvement in the sampling process, including tracking sample development, coordinating with the sampling team, and maintaining sample status.

4. Industry Background:
Preferably from a garment or home furnishing background with prior exposure to merchandising practices.

5. File Maintenance:
Maintain proper records and filing of buyer communications, purchase orders, approvals, and shipment documents.

6. Excel Sheet Updates:
Regular updating of order status, sampling trackers, and production schedules in Excel.

7. Sampling Records:
Maintain accurate records of all samples sent and received, along with their feedback/status.

8. Courier & Client Communication:
Update courier details to clients and assist in basic communication like follow-ups and sample dispatch updates.

9. Learning Attitude:
Willingness to learn new skills, processes, and take on additional responsibilities as required.
