Product Management:
Collaborate with design and production teams to develop product lines that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Analyze sales data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
Merchandising Strategy:
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales.
Create visually appealing displays that align with brand standards and seasonal themes.
Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
Sales Analysis:
Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on sales trends, inventory status, and merchandising effectiveness.
Customer Engagement:
Work closely with the marketing team to promote products through campaigns and events.
Gather customer feedback to inform future product development and merchandising strategies.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales staff to ensure they are well-informed about product features, benefits, and promotions.
Provide training and support to junior merchandising staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion Design, or a related field.
2+ Year experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the garment industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
