Export House Merchandiser acts as the bridge between international buyers and production units, managing product development, order follow-up, and timely shipments. They are responsible for cost negotiations, sourcing, sampling, quality control, and buyer compliance.Buyer Liaison: Understanding client requirements, processing orders, and providing regular production updates.
Sampling & Development: Creating and developing samples (proto, size set, pre-production) based on buyer tech packs, collaborating with design teams.
Production Monitoring: Following up with production units, raw material sourcing, and ensuring product adherence to quality standards.
Documentation & Logistics: Coordinating with freight forwarders for timely shipments, preparing shipping documents (invoices, packing lists), and managing shipping compliance.
Cost Management: Managing cost sheets, negotiating prices with suppliers, and ensuring target margins.
