Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser for  Wooven/knitted Garments to join our client in Lower Parel.

As a Merchandiser Wooven, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and distribution of wooven / knitted merchandise. This includes coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, monitoring inventory levels, and working closely with the design and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of woven merchandise.

• Manage inventory levels and ensure that products are adequately stocked.

• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product offerings and improve existing designs.

• Work closely with the sales team to develop market strategies and meet customer demands.

• Conduct market research to identify current trends and customer preferences.

• Monitor quality control standards and address any product or manufacturing issues.

• Analyze sales data and provide insights to optimize merchandising strategies.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Merchandising or a related field.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the Garment / Textile industry.

• Strong knowledge of wooven/ knitted fabrics and production processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to work.
